Description

This workshop, led by Hilary Fitzgerald Campbell, teaches you how to recognize humor and creative inspiration within the ordinary moments of everyday life and channel these observations into cartoons that connect with audiences. You'll learn the craft of developing punchlines, refining your comedic voice, and translating your unique perspective into consistently funny, professionally executed cartoon work.

Hilary Fitzgerald Campbell contributes cartoons to the New Yorker magazine and brings extensive experience as a comedian and published author. She has written books including Murder Book, What Did I Do Today?, and The Joy of Snacking; her illustrations have appeared in publications such as Feminist Fight Club and Are You My Uber?. Based in Brooklyn, Hilary balances her creative work with her passions for her dog and an impressive personal collection of Law and Order episodes.
