A full 12-class offering of the ACB Method of how to draw starting with the Basics through Portraiture in a Low-Key individualized setting. In Person Drawing from life and photographic reference, learning how to draw the human figure in an informal individualized setting with no embarrassment. Starting with the basic building blocks of contour and gesture drawing, Students create pictures that go beyond stick figures to life-like renditions of what is observed. No grading, and no pressure.

Students may show up and use provided materials, but student provision of materials is expected after the first session.

Class includes printed handouts and demonstrations, as well as streamed video lectures to encourage students to continue to work at home

Refund Policy

All class cancellations must be made at least 2 business days of scheduled class for a refund less 5% cancellation fee or full class cost will be charged.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

I enjoyed every moment at Art Class Brooklyn. Dan is extremely knowledgeable about his craft. His ability to share this knowledge in an amusing, encouraging, gentle manner, gives the student a "can do attitude" and makes them feel right at ease. I am now able to draw "Moving Figures " like an artist. I will miss our conversations and the many cups of tea that his wife Heidi offered.
