Instructed Figure Drawing (Sunday Afternoon)

Spend your Sunday afternoon learning professional figure drawing techniques from our experienced and skilled instructor in an encouraging, supportive, and welcoming classroom environment designed for artistic growth.

In this session, we concentrate on building strong figure drawing fundamentals and exploring various drawing techniques that progressively build your artistic abilities and confidence. Each week, our accomplished instructor begins with a short but informative discussion and live demonstration of different approaches to creating effective figure drawings. Following the comprehensive demonstration, attendees draw throughout the remainder of the session while receiving constructive, personalized feedback from the teacher to improve their technique. A live professional model is present and positioned for the entire duration of each weekly session, providing consistent reference and study opportunities.

All skill levels are warmly welcomed and enthusiastically encouraged to participate fully in this supportive artistic community.

Important Information You Should Know Before Attending:

• Please bring a drawing pad measuring up to eighteen by twenty-four inches, a selection of pencils in 2H, HB, and 4B grades for varied tonal work, and an eraser for corrections during your session
• The doors to our venue open exactly fifteen minutes before the official scheduled session start time. If you arrive earlier than this time, there is no indoor waiting space available inside the building, so please plan your arrival time accordingly to avoid standing outside. The doorman will direct you to the correct classroom location once you arrive
• This important event takes place on the third floor of a building without elevator access. Guests who arrive after the official start time will be seated at the discretion of the monitor, as space may be limited by that point in the class
• Photography is absolutely prohibited whenever the model is actively posing for the group to maintain the professional nature and integrity of the session
