Instructed Figure Drawing

In this class, we’ll focus on figure drawing and various drawing techniques. The session begins with a short discussion and demonstration on different approaches to drawing. After that, attendees will draw for the remainder of the session with feedback from the teacher. A live model will be present for each session, allowing you to practice drawing the human form.

What You'll Learn:

Techniques for figure drawing, including various approaches to capturing the human form.

• How to use different pencils for shading and creating depth in your drawings.

Supplies and Materials:

• Supplies and materials NOT included. Please bring your own supplies. 
• Recommended supplies: 
1. A pad up to 18” x 24”
2. A 2H, HB, and 4B pencil
3. An eraser

Additional Notes:

• The doors to our events open 15 minutes before each session. Please plan accordingly, as there is no room to wait inside the building before then. The doorman will direct you to the classroom.

• This event takes place on the third floor of a building without an elevator. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the monitor.

• Photography is absolutely not allowed when the model is posing.

• We kindly ask that any ticket rescheduling be requested at least 48 hours before class. Our space is limited, and we hold spots for all ticket holders.
