Saturday Figure Drawing

This uninstructed and self-directed open drawing session begins with short warm-up poses for all attending artists to loosen up and prepare. The longest individual poses extend to twenty minutes maximum during the extended pose section. Structured break periods of five minutes occur following each twenty-minute pose interval to rest and refresh. Complimentary cookies and fresh drinking water are available throughout the entire session. Background music accompanies the drawing experience to create an inspiring and focused atmosphere for artistic work.

Important Requirement: Bring all your own supplies and materials.

Recommended Essential Drawing Materials and Supplies:

• Strathmore Medium Drawing Spiral Paper Pad, 11" X 14" size for varied compositions
• Tombow 61001 MONO Drawing Pencil Set for creating varied marks and textures
• Pentel Hi-Polymer Eraser in lead pencil size for clean and precise corrections

Please note:

• We cannot accommodate dry pastels (for health reasons), open ink containers, or paint other than watercolor.
• The doors to our events open 15 minutes before each session. There is no room to wait inside the building if you arrive before then, so please plan accordingly. The doorman will direct you to the classroom. 
• This event takes place on the third floor of a building without an elevator. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the monitor.
• There is absolutely no photography when the model is posing. 
• We kindly ask that any ticket rescheduling be requested at least 48 hours before class. Our space is limited and we hold spots for all ticket holders.
