Class Description

Description

From music festivals to birthday parties, to weddings, bachelorettes, and beyond, a beautiful flower crown is the perfect accessory for summer fun. NYC-based florist Brooke Lucas, founder of The Wild Bunch, will share the secrets of the pros and you’ll leave with a stunning arrangement that is 100% you.

We’ll start with basic care and condition of flowers and talk about the best blooms to use for head wreaths, depending on the occasion.

Then, you’ll learn and practice professional wring techniques – the same that are used in boutonnieres, corsages and even bridal bouquets.

We’ll make our flower crown with a range of hard-wearing flowers and textures, such as spray roses, eucalyptus, freesia, delphinium and carnations. Your instructor will guide you through the techniques, but you’ll be free to create the design yourself, so you’ll end up with a bespoke, perfect-for-you crown.

You can wear it straight out on the town, or you can dry the wreath and hang it at home.

Refund Policy

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.

  • If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit if you notify us at least 5 business days before the workshop.
  • Workshop credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to merchandise purchases
  • We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 5 business days advance notice.
  • Credits cannot be given for any registrations for workshops hosted by visiting/ out of town instructors. Due to the nature of these one-time-only workshops, all events hosted by special guests are subject to this policy. Thank you for understanding!
  • In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).

Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.

In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

Refund Processing Fees:

  • The following only applies in the event a provider’s cancellation/refund policy allows for cancellations and a full refund, please see above or contact CourseHorse to determine eligibility.
  • In the event a class is still going to occur and a full refund is requested, and you are eligible for a full refund in accordance with the provider’s policy, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
