Join Lenny, creator of Antelope Women Designs, for this two day workshop that will get you started on your own beaded journey. Learn to create beaded appliqué, and leave with a cool hair clip! Lenny is excited to share five different beginner techniques and how to assemble your finished beadwork into a wearable item. Class discussion will also touch on cultural appropriation and appreciation within the vast, international history of beadwork.
What to Expect: Over the two days, you will be creating a small hair accessory. Through the process, you will develop a variety of skills, styles, and tools to use in continued projects beyond this workshop. Class will take place in the UrbanGlass classroom.
Eligibility:No previous experience required. Open to ages 14 and up.
Pick-up: Students will create their own small wearable beaded hair accessory that they will be able to take home the day of the class.
This is an in-person class taking place on-site at UrbanGlass. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.
