Bench time for beginner to advanced jewelers. Bench time includes the use of all basic tools and equipment. Items such as drill bits, burs, saw blades, and similar supplies are to be purchased by students. Time slots are currently available on Saturdays only. The studio closes promptly at the scheduled closing time. All attendees of bench time are responsible for keeping the studio in clean condition and maintaining all tools in excellent working condition.
To book hours for the weekend, please specify which time slot you would like to attend. The studio will confirm availability prior to your attendance. Once your time slot is approved, you can proceed with booking.
Students are expected to work independently on their own projects. A bench monitor will be present to oversee the studio and students. The bench monitor is not there to provide formal training. They will guide students to the best of their ability on how to design, fabricate, and finish works, but are not obligated to teach new techniques. Do not use any equipment if you are not comfortable using it or have not been trained on it.
Hours must be purchased prior to your scheduled bench time. All renters are responsible for any damages to the studio, tools, and furniture. Renters will be expected to compensate for any damages at the time of checkout.
Important Scheduling Notes:
- Scheduling for bench time is flexible and subject to availability.
- In the rare event that the studio is unavailable during your booked date and time, studio management will reach out and reschedule you based on your availability. You also have the option for an immediate refund.
- Hours are sold on a per-session basis for the time slot you select.
