Class Description

Description

Advance your fabrication and design skills and create a unique bracelet to make a real statement piece.  Learn how to texture the metal with use of different hammers, chasing tools, burs, and create patterned metal by embossing with the rolling mill.

In this class, you will work on hinges and connections. Create a cuff, hinged bangle or a link bracelet in sterling silver and incorporate mixed metals. You will be learning different mechanics like hinges, pins and box clasps to create movement and security in your work.

Soldering skills will be greatly improved with these detailed projects. In addition to learning these new skills, you’ll learn ways of finding inspiration, layout and design, plus many little bench tricks along the way.
