Class Description

Description

In this Buddy Up experience, you and a friend will create one planter box together. At least one participant must be 18 or older. You'll Master the fundamentals of metal fabrication and welding while creating a functional steel planter box.

Throughout history, welding has served as a critical skill for builders and artisans. From legendary construction photographs to iconic architectural achievements, welding demonstrates both technical expertise and artistic vision. Learning this valuable craft requires a safe environment and professional instruction.

Craftsman Ave provides the perfect introduction to welding through a hands-on, professionally supervised single-session workshop. In just one evening, you will practice cutting, welding, and grinding to construct your own steel planter with a minimalist design. Throughout the process, expert guides will provide close mentorship, ensuring you safely and confidently master each metalworking skill.

Following construction, you have the option to add personal touches using engraving tools or preserve the clean, minimal look. Your finished steel planter will be a tangible reminder of your new metalworking abilities and your collaborative workshop experience.

  • Tools and Techniques: You will have substantial hands-on experience with MIG welders, angle grinders, and hand tools
