You and a friend will work together to create one beautiful, personalized rose. This is an excellent opportunity to share a creative experience with someone you enjoy. At least one person must be 18 years or older.
In this workshop, you'll craft a truly timeless rose that will become a cherished keepsake. Your rose will never fade or wilt because you'll create it from steel, ensuring it remains eternally in full bloom and perfect condition, capturing your artistic vision permanently in metal.
You'll start by carefully preparing rose petals for welding, including individually engraving them with your own personal designs or heartfelt love notes and meaningful messages. Our knowledgeable and experienced guides will introduce you thoroughly to the fascinating art and science of MIG welding, showing you the proper techniques and methods to attach petals securely to the stem. Using a controlled open-flame torch, you'll carefully shape and form each petal exactly as you desire and imagine, from a partially open bud to a beautifully fully opened bloom. You'll repeat this rewarding and satisfying process skillfully until your special rose is complete.
Each participant will make and take home at least one rose. You're welcome to create a second rose if time allows.
What You'll Be Making:
A handcrafted rose made of steel, and possibly even two of them, if time permits.
What You'll Be Doing:
MIG welding petals to the stem and using an open-flame torch to carefully shape them.
