You and your special guest will work together collaboratively to craft one beautiful, unique rose while enjoying delicious pizza and a bottle of wine to share during the workshop. This romantic experience combines artistry with relaxation and celebration. At least one person must be 18 years or older.
Create a One-of-a-Kind Steel Rose, Welded and Personalized by You
In this workshop, you'll create a truly timeless and enduring rose. Your rose will never wilt, fade, or lose its beauty because you'll craft it from durable steel that maintains its perfect appearance forever in full bloom, making it an eternal symbol of affection.
You'll begin by carefully preparing rose petals for welding, including individually engraving them with designs of your own creative choice or a personal love note for someone special and meaningful. Our experienced guides will then comprehensively introduce you to the art and science of MIG welding, teaching you skillfully to attach your rose's petals to the stem securely. Using a controlled open-flame torch, you'll shape each petal artistically to your exact preference, from a slightly open bud to fully open in-bloom state. You'll repeat this rewarding creative process until your beautiful rose is complete and finished.
Each participant will make and take home at least one rose. Participants are welcome to create a second rose if time permits.
What You'll Be Making:
A handcrafted rose made entirely of steel, and possibly even two if you work efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing:
MIG welding petals to the stem and using an open-flame torch to shape and style them.
Skill Level:
Beginner-friendly, with absolutely no previous experience or prior welding knowledge necessary. Complete beginners are welcome and encouraged to participate.
