Description

Escape the heat and bond through art. No prior experience is needed! This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to explore a new creative art form.

Workshop Agenda

  1. Arrive at the Studio: Step into our creative space and get ready for a fun, hands-on session.
  2. Introduction & History: Turkish mosaic lamp history and materials overview for creative journey.
  3. Create Your Design: Start your mosaic magic journey by creating your own custom patterns or those on our design paper.
  4. Stick the Mosaics: Apply an adequate amount of glue and stick your mosaics one by one, from the center moving your way outwards.
  5. Pour the Beads: Apply glue to the empty spaces to fill the gaps with beads.
  6. Enjoy Turkish Tea and Delights: Now, sit back and enjoy the mosaic masterpiece you've created while sipping Turkish Tea and snacking on sweet Delights.
  7. Grout at Home: At home, spread the grout evenly throughout the glass globe, wait for it to dry, clean it, then light it up!

Important:

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the workshop start time. If you are more than 30 minutes late, we’ll assume it’s a no-show. Instructors may not accept late arrivals, and we cannot guarantee entry as you won’t have enough time to complete your artwork. You may need to reschedule with a fee.
  • Once you've completed your project at the studio, bring the glass globe home and allow a minimum of 12 hours for the glue to fully dry. Then, apply the grout we've provided to finalize your masterpiece.
  • The "Glass Globe Only" option allows you to make a glass globe only without purchasing the lamp parts like metal frame and light bulb. It is recommended for customers who already made at least one lamp before.
  • Glass globes are standard 5.5" globes fitting to any type of lamp.
