Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)
I learned this beautiful process of making stained glass art. I was vacationing from Maryland for my 10th wedding anniversary and decided to take this course. I am an artist but I had never done stained glass. It was well worth the money and I will be taking courses in my area. Thanks Jess and Mary! -

Mosaic Art Crash Course
Outstanding class: small number of students who were all lovely, great guidance/instructions and tips by Grace Baley, many different designs to select from or you could create your own, superior selection of colored tiles and stones to use, length of class was exactly the right amount of time to have plenty of time to create and complete your mosaic. Grace was terrific in assisting me in making a highly customized mosaic, and I saw her doing this with each student. Five stars plus! -
One Day Mosaics
The teacher was wonderful. Supplies were plentiful. We got a great tour of Urban Glass so I need to decide what to try next. I think everyone was very pleased with their projects. Please note that the projects are 10x10 inches. It was a pleasant surprise that they were larger than a coaster. -

A Taste of Mosaic
Great atmosphere!!! The Ms. Galot taught us how to cut and place the tiles. It was a taste of mosaics as Ms. Galot calls the class. It was a lot of fun. My daughter and I shared the experience. -
Stained Glass
Great class, excellent teacher. My one suggestion is that certain safety measures (wearing a mask while soldering, for example, or wearing gloves when applying patina) should at least be discussed, even if the teacher chooses not to follow them herself. -
Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)

Intro to Mosaic
Highly recommended!! This course is perfect for beginners and those with experience. As someone brand new to creating mosaics, I wanted to learn the process of how to create pieces of art, as well as have fun creating them. That’s exactly what I got at Galit’s professional studio! Galit is a highly talented, professional, hospitable, and joyful teacher with years of experience teaching and creating diverse masterpieces. She offers the perfect balance between giving specific instruction and allowing her students to craft with autonomy which fosters confidence, skill, and inspiration. The atmosphere within the studio is absolutely beautiful: relaxing, friendly, immaculate, well-organized, and cheerful. With an amazing array of materials to choose from, you will create something you will be proud of, as well as learn how to use your mosaic skills on future projects. -

Ms. Galit is a very sweet, kind and talented teacher. She is gives you guidance on your project and very patient as a beginner or someone who is experienced. Mosaic Workshop
I would highly recommend this mosaic workshop to anyone who is looking to try something different and who wants to tap into their creativity! Grace was so generous with her knowledge, experience and feedback! I have gone three times, and I will go again and highly recommend it to anybody considering taking this class. I also really appreciated the camaraderie of the other folks in the room. We all encouraged and learned from each other with the class being orchestrated by Grace. Since she has been teaching this class for many years as well as doing her own artwork, she is a true insight for texture color and gives great suggestions! -
Mosaic Workshop
Excellent day with good instruction and a very friendly atmosphere. All materials provided freely and we got to go home with a finished piece. I am definitely hooked and want to do more. They are great sessions to do with friends, to gift to someone or just to take yourself to. Fun, social experience, with creativity grown in. -
Mosaic Workshop
Grace is amazing! She has gotten me addicted to making mosaics. I received a gift certificate for a class earlier this year and can’t stop coming back (I’m finishing up my third piece now). I’ve loved working with Grace to create a vision for each piece and learning to cut tiles and glass. Grace is so thoughtful, supportive and clear with her instruction and creates such a great sense of community among those in the class. I highly recommend her as an instructor — just be warned you will likely become mosaic addicted too! -
Mosaic Workshop
I’ve been to several of Grace’s mosaic workshops and they’re really fun! She guides you through the whole process and you get to leave with your very own work of art. You can come up with your own design or she has plenty of stencils to choose from. It’s really rewarding to get immersed in your own project for a few hours in an environment where all the students really encourage each other, even if you’ve never made anything with your very own hands before. I’ve met really neat new people each time. Jaimie and Liz, the gallery owners, are wonderful hosts and they take the class too! -
Mosaic Workshop
This was one of my favorite workshops I've attended! We had such a fun group of people and there were a lot of repeat attendees. Grace is a great teacher (and artist) and is really patient with new learners and people new to mosaic making. I really love what I made in the class and I'm displaying it on my wall! I would recommend this class to anyone looking to dabble in mosaic making and try something new! -

Job well done Craftsman. -

Intro to Mosaic
The Introduction to Mosaics Class was a wonderful experience. GHD studio was welcoming and comfortable to this complete beginner, and Galit is an inspiring and patient instructor who clearly loves her craft and wants to share that love with her students. -
One Day Mosaics
Great introduction to mosaics for first-timers. I suggest coming prepared with an idea of what design you'd like to create, and pack a lunch or snack with you, since it is 6 hours long. You'll also get to learn about UrbanGlass's different areas of work. This class was a rewarding way to spend a Sunday, and I highly recommend it to all! -
Mosaic Basic Skills A-Z
I look forward to Galit’s class every week. The studio is beautiful, a very serene and fun space to create. The instruction is really helpful and I’ve learned so many different techniques in just my first 5 classes. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. A great experience, I’m so glad I found GHD mosaic. -

Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)
Great intro class! I'm a Graphic Designer and try to take a lot of different 'hands-on' classes to learn new hobbies and get away from the computer screen. Kelsie was a great instructor, taught us a ton in the amount of time we had, and answered all the questions I threw at her (which was probably a lot). I had such a great experience that I ended up buying my own equipment to continue practicing at home. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in learning the process of Stained Glass and glass as a medium. -
Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)
I took this class with my cousin and it was really fun, the studio had a chill vibe. The class was small enough that you can freely talk to the instructor. We actually made a whole piece of art which was cool and all the equipment and all the necessary tools were provided. We had a super chill instructor who was helpful and also not super strict about little things so we had a certain amount of artistic and technical leeway. I'm actually planning on going back for some other classes at the studio because I really liked the vibe and the people. -
Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)
The stained glass workshop for beginners was EXCELLENT!. The hands on learning experience revealed the artistry, creativity, and incredible skill associated with this art form. Kelsie was a superb teacher knowing when to pull the group together for a demonstration lesson, when to leave the group time for independent work, and when to offer her guidance in a time of need/advice. Her pleasant, encouraging, and kind demeanor is an essential characteristic for others to feel welcomed and vulnerable in a new learning experience. Her interactions were truly genuine. -
Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)
Super fun with a gorgeous result! -
Make a Stained Glass Work of Art (Intro Level)
This was a fantastic class that did a great job breaking the stained glass process into very manageable steps. The teacher was very approachable, and did a great job helping with our initial designs. I was pretty intimidated going into it, but by the end, I wished I had gone with a more complicated design because it was much easier than I thought. I went with my wife and parents and we had a great time, walking away with finished pieces to be proud of.
