  • Quick Small Scale Portrait Sculpture

It was truly an enjoyable class. The instructor guided me really well, and I’m thinking about continuing. I also learned some new information about the skull.

  • Quick Small Scale Portrait Sculpture

this course was a terrific and insightful way to either start your sculpting journey or learn some new techniques to upgrade your skills. The instructor takes a really great one on one approach, giving time for each of the students - the space is welcoming and inspiring - if you enjoy it, they offer very affordable and thorough further training - highly advised!

A very real experience. James Xavier's commitment and enthusiasm is contagious.

  • Quick Small Scale Portrait Sculpture

This was a fantastic class. James was incredible. He started the class off by giving us a tour of his studio where some of his other students were working which allowed us to be immersed in mind and body in the craft of portraits in different modes. He was available and present with the lesson which felt intimate and extraterrestrial at the same time. His words were incredibly uplifting and his instruction showed how firmness meets flexibility in the craft of one's self. I would highly recommend this class for anyone who feels that there is something burgeoning inside them that needs a guide to come through. James is both an instructor of the art of sculpting clay as well as one's own vision for themselves. 10/10 would recommend and will very likely work with James again.
