Paint Like Georgia O'Keeffe

Discover the artistic legacy of Georgia O'Keeffe and create original paintings featuring flowers and bones beneath the desert sky.

Georgia O'Keeffe's striking paintings of flowers and bones silhouetted against the desert landscape serve as powerful reminders of the extraordinary beauty found in nature's smallest and most overlooked elements, a truth that resonates powerfully during times of difficulty and chaos. As a trailblazer in the feminist art movement, O'Keeffe achieved the remarkable distinction of creating the most expensive work ever sold by a female artist. This course will deepen your understanding of the inspiration behind O'Keeffe's distinctive style and vision, enabling you to create your own interpretations through paintings featuring flowers, cow skulls, or combinations of both. Real flowers and natural objects will be supplied to inspire and guide your creative process.

Instruction is provided by PhDs, recognized subject matter experts, and accomplished professional artists. All art materials and supplies needed for the course are included in the tuition.
