Interested in exploring the world of hand building with clay? This 12-week class is open to all skill levels, making it a great fit for beginners and those with prior clay experience looking to refine their techniques.
We’ll explore foundational methods such as coil, slab, darting, and extrusions to create both functional and sculptural pieces. Projects range from mugs, bowls, and plates to planters, candlesticks, ashtrays, vases, clocks, and sculptural pieces. For larger or more complex forms, we’ll introduce the use of armatures.
