  • so fun!! had a great time and learned a lot
  • The location is great. Classroom specious and clean. Our teacher Daniella was super knowledgeable, thorough and very supportive. Will be taking another class for sure.
  • I had an amazing experience at this class. Kaitlyn was so informative and helped me create a bowl. Would definitely recommend
  • The instructor was helpful, friendly, and patient; the atmosphere was collegial; and the materials were great -- I loved that we had our choice of several different colors. Most importantly, there was the most beautiful, affectionate dog joining us! :-) It was a really enjoyable class; I only wish it had been an hour longer to give us more time to practice.
  • class was very fun and everything that was needed was provided. a great intro to pottery for any interested!
  • Great class. Patrick was patient and very helpful.
  • Very fun class!
  • Jewel was an expert and they were super patient and really helped us understand how to use the wheel, how to prep our clay, how to comeback from mistakes, and when to just call some of those mistakes! We had a great afternoon and highly recommend this class!
  • Never done this before and happy we tried this. It is definitely one of the hardest things I’ve had to do with almost nothing to show for it!!! Our instructor Amy was super patient and kind and gave clear instructions it’s definitely something you should take several classes to get better at. It was a humbling experience and I’m excited to pick up our pieces in a week. We had a lot of fun laughing at ourselves and getting clay all over and there was a lot of natural talented folks in the group who made beautiful cups vases and bowls.
  • super fun, and the total open studio hours are so rare to come by. it was an amazing experience and i’m continuing to take classes
  • Wonderful instructor who made sure everyone left with at least one piece they were happy with. I do wish it was a 3-hour class though, between a long demo at the beginning and clean up at the end, the actual throwing time felt limited.
  • The instructor was super supportive and the experience was a great time for my partner and me.
  • The instructors energy was great and she made sure she was available to help as needed without hovering to much!
  • Maria and Rachel made the experience so enjoyable and fun. i would definitely do this again!
  • Awesome class! Instructor was so helpful and fun!!
  • The instructor was great and very patient. He was also quite encouraging. Great experience.
  • The class was fun, no pressure or judgement how well my project. The instructor was awesome very encouraging and helpful.
  • This was such a fun class. We would definitely do it again
  • We had so much fun at this class. Anna was a wonderful instructor! Neither one of us had ever done this before, nor can we call ourselves "artists" but we actually created some very pretty items. The 9th wedding anniversary traditional gift is pottery, so we signed up for this class to celebrate our 9th and we had a great evening together. I can't wait to pick up our finished pieces. Highly recommend!
  • Kaitlyn was wonderful! She was very patient and guided me every step of the way. I had a great experience. I look forward to working with her again.
  • Great class, small and personal help. It’s tough to learn but I felt I learned a lot. I’m excited to get my piece. They were kind enough to ask if you wanted to make something specific and they helped me get to what I wanted. Only minor critique is sometimes when I asked for help, the teacher did it for me, but I wanted to learn to do it myself! All in all, I did feel like I did most of it myself though. I’m excited to see how it turns out! I recommend wholeheartedly.
  • This was the absolute funnest class! The teacher was so so so helpful. Many times I would struggle to get it centered and he would come over and help me do it. I am so excited to see my vase that I made next week. Such a fun class. Laugher from strangers all around.
  • Such an excellent way to be introduced to wheel throwing! Our instructor Siri was excellent— she explained the process well, and was very helpful as we encountered new questions and created new problems. We made multiple pieces each, and while only one firing is included in the class fee, the firing fee for additional pieces is so inexpensive that we ended up deciding to keep everything we made. We may be back to take more classes and learn more advanced skills :D
  • Anna was a great instructor - gave very helpful demonstration and remained very attentive to everyone's projects
  • Clear, friendly instruction, lots of attempts to play around on the wheel, in a large workspace where more professional people were working and lots of cool work on the walls for inspiration. Price felt exactly right. Very messy, very fun!
  • This was a great experience! My spouse and I were complete beginners, and had so much fun learning the basics. The class was full but only fits maybe 12 or so people, so it wasn't intimidating and there was always help when we needed it from one of the two instructors. The main instructor seemed to be newer than the other one, not as confident but definitely very skilled. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time! Make sure to ask for extra ideas/tips once you've gotten the basics - the only group instruction was for the basics, but some people seemed to get some very cool extra techniques from the instructors walking around and helping.
  • The instructor, Patrick, did a great job of explaining the basics. Had unlimited clay to use and would take the class again.
  • This course was a lot of fun. Our instructor was amazing! We laughed out loud while learning valuable skills for our first time hand-throwing. They first do a demo, then walk you through step by step, and then let you have time to go for it yourself. I took my best friend for a birthday present, and we couldn't have been happier. It's worth every penny!
  • The people were welcoming and very knowledgeable. It was fun and I learned so much in just 2 hours.
  • Fun class with great instructor!
  • My family and I took the pottery class in New York City. It was an amazing experience. The instructors were very thorough and helped us a lot. We were very new to pottery and using the wheel, but they came around and helped us when we were lost. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning how to use the pottery wheel and basic techniques.
  • So worth it that we’re going to do it again with friends! My husband and I took a pottery wheel class to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely fantastic! The teacher was lovely and incredibly helpful, guiding us through every step of the process with patience and encouragement. We had so much fun learning the techniques, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. When our pieces were glazed and fired, we were thrilled with the final products— they turned out beautifully. This class was a perfect way to celebrate, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try something creative and fun!
  • Eleni was a highly skilled and kind teacher who easily walked us through the basics of pottery. Both me and my partner were pretty new to the hobby, so she met us where we are. I would consider the course a great value for the amount I paid, and would recommend it to anyone interested. If it were a recurring class, I would definitely consider taking it again.
  • This was a great experience for a Valentine's Day gift. Our teacher was very personable and knowledgeable, and helped to make sure each classmate completed their project in time. I would highly recommend it to friends.
  • I had a wonderful experience. Mariana was an easy going, flexible instructor. I can't wait to take another class. Best Claudette Jordan
  • great class and teacher :)
  • It was a great team building exercise that helped me, as their new leader, assess how they managed the task - of drinking & spinning.
  • I loved the class I took. Lou, the instructor, was patient, helpful, and just super fun to be around. The folks in the class were all kind. And I learned lots about the fundamentals of wheel throwing! Would absolutely take another class here in the future.
  • Great teachers, Jess was great
  • Good at explaining things, great class for beginners
  • Great class. Instructor was patient and knowledgeable. Very accommodating to amateurs. Highly recommend this course. We were celebrating a birthday. So much fun.
  • The class was really fun and the instructor the best!
  • 5 stars! Great experience and loved the instructor. He was patient and knowledgeable.
  • The One Day Wheel Throwing class is so much fun! It’s a great place to dip your toe into a complicated art form within a fun and loving atmosphere.
  • This class was lots of fun!
  • I loved this class so much. Lou was such a great instructor. I can’t wait to sign up for a longer course :)
  • Oh my gosh it was so much fun. I went with friends and it was such a wonderful and fun experience. I always wanted to do it and it was an amazing experience so happy I did it. It was a cozy and calm atmosphere everyone was very helpful I would say everyone who took the class did enjoyed and would definitely do it again.
  • Patrick was a great instructor! I learned a few tips and tricks from this class and he really inspired us to get creative and have fun with it
  • Was a great class and really enjoyed it!!
  • I will suggest taking the class, kind and patient helpful tutor.
