Additional Notes:

  • Additional pieces can be glazed and fired for a $15 fee (cash only, under $25).

This course was a lot of fun. Our instructor was amazing! We laughed out loud while learning valuable skills for our first time hand-throwing. They first do a demo, then walk you through step by step, and then let you have time to go for it yourself. I took my best friend for a birthday present, and we couldn't have been happier. It's worth every penny!

It was a great team building exercise that helped me, as their new leader, assess how they managed the task - of drinking & spinning.

  • Sip & Spin Pottery Workshop (Williamsburg)

My sister and I went to this class and it was perfect! We have both have never taken a pottery class so started off a little overwhelmed but the instructor was a great help. I made 3 pieces in 2 hrs and decided to keep 2 of them. My sister made 2 pieces and kept 1. The instructors are really helpful in getting you set up but also good about making sure you try on your own as well. I can’t wait to pick up my glazed piece in 3 weeks! They pick the same off white speckle glaze for everyone’s piece. It’s a pretty neutral so I didn’t mind but keep in mind that you don’t actually paint the piece after you are done. This is only the pottery piece.
  • Sip & Spin Pottery Workshop (Williamsburg)

Instructor was awesome, personable and patient! It was a lot harder than I thought it would be so it was great to have someone willing to step in and show us the ropes!
