For Adult Student Cancellations: Please double check your calendar before signing up for a class! Our small team works very hard throughout the year to schedule each class and coordinate with our students. When you register for a spot in one of our classes, you are reserving a seat and committing to join us for that date and time. If for some reason you need to cancel a class you’ve signed up for, please note the following policies:

At least one month before class: Students may receive full refund or credit to a future class at TAC, minus a $25 processing fee for Morning/Evening Series, Weekend Intensive, One Day Classes and 4-Week Classes, and a $10 processing fee for After Workshops.

Less than one month before class: Students may receive credit only to a future class at TAC, minus a $25 processing fee for Morning/Evening Series, Weekend Intensive, and 4-Week Classes, One Day Classes and a $10 processing fee for After Workshops. We are unable to offer refunds with less than one month notice.

All requests for refunds or class credits must be made in writing via email to [email protected]. In addition to the timing guidelines above, we of course appreciate as much notice as possible when making any adjustments to registrations.

Coursehorse students will need to contact Coursehorse directly about cancellations or refunds. TAC cancellation policy will apply.

All classes, workshops, special events, and gift certificates are non-transferable. No refunds will be given on Gift Certificates. Gift Certificates are valid for (1) one year from the date of purchase.

CLASS MAKE-UP POLICY

Classes do not include individual Make Up sessions -- though you may be able to schedule a private lesson with your instructor based on their availability. We are unable to pro-rate classes or refund students who cannot to make it to class. If you have to miss a class, you are responsible for catching up during Open Studio time.

In any event where a student wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • After Workshop: Bead Embroidery

The instructor was excellent. She was clear, patient, and very encouraging. The class size was perfect and the information shared was most helpful. One of the students was seriously insensitive and bigoted and absolutely ruined the evening.

Alexandra was a delightful instructor, and we learned several very useful stitches we could use in our work. The handout contained handy resources, and I also appreciated the free time at the end to create a mini-project of our own.
  • After Workshop: Bead Embroidery

Alejandra was a great teacher for beginners - wish class was a bit longer to complete projects but definitely loved the space and people there! will be back!

The class was really good. The instructor was very patient. I only gave 4 stars because I wish it lasted a little longer.

  • After Workshop: Bead Embroidery

The class was laid back and casual. It was a little hard to follow when the teacher was demonstrating the pattern since it's small intricate work. The class description said it was for all levels but I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner.
  • After Workshop: Bead Embroidery

It was good, although not with the instructor advertised, Nadia Albertini, whose course I had taken before. I had been looking forward to learning more from her so was a disappointed when another teacher was there when I arrived. Edward was very good however and I appreciated learning new techniques from another pro with a different aesthetic.
  • After Workshop: Bead Embroidery

The teacher was so knowledgeable about both the history and process. Loved this class!
