Description

Are you embroidery curious? In this workshop, you will learn classic hand embroidery stitches and techniques like stem stich, the adorable French knots, blanket stitch, and more. Each student will create a sampler of stitches while learning how to use an embroidery hoop, stitch with embroidery floss, and transfer images. In addition to the sampler, students will create small embroidered images. This is the perfect workshop to start creating a strong foundation of embroidery skills.

Level: Beginner

Required supplies*:

  • 1 Fat Quarter in a solid color
  • Embroidery floss skeins in 2 or more colors 
  • Embroidery needle
  • size 57" Embroidery hoop (can be slightly larger)
  • Water soluble or disappearing ink marker
  • Scissors
  • Felt tip pen, Pencil, Carbon transfer paper

*all supplies can be purchased in the shop.

School Notes:

Note: Please have a general knowledge of sewing and for classes that include machine sewing, please have experience using a machine.

Refund Policy

We offer store credit to be used toward a future class if notice is given at least 72 hours before the class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
