Description

Discover the art of classic hat blocking with this two-session workshop. On the first Sunday, learn to block a traditional fedora, porkpie, or homburg hat in felt while exploring the various materials available and understanding the range of possible shapes. Return the following Sunday to complete your chosen hat by finishing the construction, shaping it precisely, and trimming it to perfection. If you work efficiently, you can block a second piece during the first session to finish at home (additional material charges apply for a second hat).

By the conclusion of this workshop, you will have created a beautiful, high-quality hat that becomes an excellent addition to your personal wardrobe.

Materials:

All necessary materials are included with the course. Instruction covers everything you need to know about blocking and finishing techniques.

Prerequisites:

Basic hand sewing skills are essential for this course and must be demonstrated before enrollment.

Cancellation 7 days before the class

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
