Description

Needle felting is a specialized dry felting technique that uses a specific barbed needle to felt wool fibers together. This method works exceptionally well for adding decorative details to already-created pieces of felt or wool garments. It can also be used to create standalone sculptural forms and three-dimensional art pieces.

In this class, you will practice needle felting decorative details onto previously made wet-felted hats, experiencing the creative process of literally painting with wool. You will develop control and design skills while adding embellishment and artistic detail to your creations.

All materials included, no prior skills necessary
