Follow A Pattern - Lounge Pants

This four-session course teaches you how to construct a garment using a commercial sewing pattern. We provide both the muslin practice fabric and a professionally drafted pattern for pajama pants, allowing you to master construction techniques on affordable material before working with your choice of final fabric. During the first three classes, you will construct the practice pants and develop essential sewing skills. In the fourth session, you will begin your final project using fabric you select, working toward a finished garment that you may complete in our studio or continue at home in subsequent classes.

Throughout this course, our instructors will guide you in selecting appropriate fabrics that complement your vision and skill level. This structured approach ensures you build confidence and competence in pattern reading, layout, cutting, and garment assembly.

We recommend beginning with a private lesson or participating in our introductory tote-bag workshop prior to enrolling in this course if you are new to sewing.
