This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone interested in sustainable fashion, hand embroidery, or learning practical repair techniques.

In this workshop, you will learn:

The fundamentals of visible mending

Basic hand sewing with needle and thread - no machine needed

Decorative hand stitching techniques with practical applications

How to patch and darn holes, tears, and worn areas with style

Creative ways to extend the life of your favorite garments

PROJECT:

One visibly mended garment or fabric sample

SUPPLIES:

All hand sewing supplies are included. Students should bring one garment they would like to repair.

PREREQUISITES:

None! Beginners welcome.

DURATION:

1 class; 2 hours
