Construct Your Own Traditional Hardwood Pintail Longboard Skateboard
This engaging, hands-on workshop teaches you how to build your own self-powered longboard skateboard in the traditional old-school style with quality hardwood. A pintail longboard is wonderful for casual cruising and developing your carving abilities. When people see your custom board and ask where you got it, you'll have the genuine satisfaction of knowing you built it yourself.
The workshop emphasizes fundamental woodworking competencies: planing rough lumber, cutting precisely, and smoothing hardwood materials to achieve a professional finish. Once your deck has been properly prepared, you'll attach the rolling components and hardware that allow you to take your finished board out for a ride. You can choose from multiple wood options for your deck, selecting between solid hardwoods and plywood, and you'll customize your board by selecting your preferred wheel color.
