In this couple's workshop, you and your guest will collaborate to build a single classic pintail longboard skateboard while enjoying pizza and a bottle of wine together during your work session. At least one participant must be 18 years of age or older.
This hands-on workshop guides you through constructing a traditional old-school pintail longboard skateboard, a self-powered ride ideal for cruising and developing your carving technique. You'll have the satisfaction of building your own board from scratch, giving you authentic bragging rights when people admire your custom ride and ask where you found it.
The workshop develops essential woodworking fundamentals, including planing rough lumber, precision cutting, and smoothing techniques applied to quality hardwood. Once you've refined your deck to your specifications, you'll install all the rolling components that enable you to ride away with your new board. You'll select from several wood options for your deck; choices include solid hardwoods and quality plywood, and you'll choose your preferred wheel color.
