This intermediate level five-session class involves both spindle and faceplate styles of turning wood on the lathe. If you’ve taken a lathe class or have prior experience in wood turning, this class is great next step.
The project for this class is a small three-leg stool with through-tenons that are wedged into a round seat—all parts made on the lathe. The goal of this course is to expand your turning skills and knowledge and start to incorporate turned parts into your furniture projects. All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided.
Prerequisite is Lathe 101, Turning Bowls on the Lathe, or equivalent experience
