Sushi Basics
Sushi basics was great. I took my sister for her birthday— we loved the context given to the ingredients, the small stories and jokes sprinkled in, and the quality of instruction. There was lots of freedom in the sense that could you essentially freestyle sushi making if you wanted, but the instruction was stellar, and I was making full rolls in minutes. 10/10! -

Sushi Basics
Great experience. Fun place, with wonderful people and a knowledgeable teacher. Thank you, Abby! -
Sushi & Dumplings (BYOB)
Really enjoyed this experience. I went with 1 additional person, and we were lucky to be seated at a table with great people who we got along with. The course providers mentioned they would send the recipes, but I never received them which I was bummed about. The only other thing I wish I knew, was that it would be a vegetable based sushi course and not raw fish sushi making. (Totally okay, maybe it was in the description and was overlooked.) -
Make Your Own Sushi

Virtual Learn to Make Sushi
I attended Simon's virtual sushi making class with my 12 year-old daughter, and it was wonderful! He's incredibly knowledgeable, and very engaging. I was skeptical about doing this remotely, but Simon had a great setup for teaching (one camera on him, one on the cutting board), and made an effort to ask questions, check-in with each participant, have us show what we made, etc., so that the remote format felt very personal. Oh, and the pre-class checklist of materials to purchase was very clear and easy to manage (another thing I had been worried about). I would definitely do this again. Well worth it.
