So, I'm giving this 5 stars because the teacher, Nick was really amazing. He was so patient and good with the kids (who didn't always make it easy). I will say-- there were adults and teenagers and younger kids in the same class. This was super fun for my 7.5 year old who learned a lot from the teens (who were very, very funny). I was expecting a different format, but what I actually wanted was Improv, and it was 2 hours of improv. So-- a heads up, this was an improv class. -

3-Week Commercial Class (for Kids)
My daughter has only been to one class and is already hooked. She could not stop talking about how much fun the class has been and she loves her teacher, Barry Shapiro. Although the course description is for a commercial class, Barry covers so many different areas that are beneficial to all areas of acting. Our wish is that this course was longer. The location is super convenient. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. I've recommended Course Horse to everyone I know or anyone interested in classes. It's awesome getting money off your next class. Other sites do not offer this for the same course. Classes make excellent gifts also. -
Kids Comedy Class (7-9 yrs.)
My daughter loved this class. We will be returning to take more classes. It's very helpful for kids learning to think quickly and on the spot. Aside from warm ups and teaching the kids some very helpful tips on things like how to conduct yourself on stage, the class played fun games that teach kids to think outside the box while allowing them to be creative. Shy kids will fit in. The teachers made sure each child got a turn. This helps with shy kids that are afraid to speak up. I was impressed on the patience of the two teachers that were running the class. Kids even get an open mike to tell a story. The one complaint I do have is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I'd make sure to help the kids so they don't touch anything. Other than that, I loved the class. I'm very happy we purchased this!!
