From basic knowledge to real conversations in everyday Mandarin
This class is designed for students with prior Mandarin learning experience who are not yet conversational. Through structured, step-by-step guidance, you will strengthen your speaking and listening skills while continuing to build reading and writing abilities.
By the end of this level, you will be able to handle basic daily conversations with confidence—such as shopping, traveling, and exchanging simple information when meeting new people. You will also build a solid foundation that prepares you to transition smoothly into the intermediate level.
Beautiful Mandarin is a school that offers Mandarin lessons for all ages - young kids, teenagers and adults. Our teachers are all professionally trained in teaching Mandarin.
We apply different teaching methods and approaches for different levels and age groups. We use well-known books and materials published in China that make learning easy and enjoyable.
In addition, our lessons are fun and interactive. Our group class attendance is usually three to five students, with a maximum of eight students. Because of the small class size students have ample opportunity to practice speaking. We also study Chinese characters, which you'll find are fun to learn.
We have monthly gatherings with varied activities, such as dinner, movie night, and making dumplings. This is a great time for students to practice speaking Mandarin with one another and to get to know more about the Chinese culture.
