Class Description

Description

Ready to move beyond beginner basics? This course is designed for students who already know hiragana, katakana, and simple grammatical structures. Building on that foundation, you will practice everyday communication through themes like shopping, daily routines, and navigating town settings. Lessons follow the content of Genki I and focus on strengthening your ability to understand and create longer, more natural sentences.

Materials Needed:
Students should have access to the Genki I textbook and workbook, Third Edition. These materials are used throughout the class for structured practice and guided activities.

Additional Information:
You will learn practical grammar patterns, new vocabulary, and essential kanji that support real conversational tasks. Class sessions emphasize speaking and listening with regular opportunities to participate in guided dialogues and partner exercises. Completion of Beginner: Level 102 or equivalent experience is recommended before enrolling.
