Class Description

Description

In this intermediate Japanese course, students will progress through Chapters 9-10 of Genki I, delving into a deeper exploration of grammatical structures and cultural heritage. Throughout the course, learners will encounter traditional Japanese artistic expressions such as Kabuki theater and folklore narratives like the tale of Kasajizo, while simultaneously building conversational fluency through comparative language structures, personal diary composition techniques, and increasingly natural implementation of informal grammatical forms. Concurrent kanji instruction reinforces reading comprehension skills and fosters growing confidence with written Japanese language materials.
