Our popular culture is filled with fantastical worlds that transport us from Middle Earth to a galaxy far, far away. Such vast worlds in our collective imaginations make it challenging to separate the real-life weapons and their practical use from the dynamic and whirly-twirly moves of fantasy.
This new recurring class is designed to give both performers and fans alike a chance to enjoy themselves and sharpen their skills with the lightsaber in a structured training environment.
Here are a few notes and instructions about entering the space:
- Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your class.
- When you arrive, tell the attendant at the front desk you are going to the 7th floor (room 702).
- If there is no one at the desk, a member of our team will be there to let you in.
- When you enter the studio, you must remove your street shoes, and there are shelves for storage located by the door.
- The space has changing rooms where you will be able to get ready before class.
- For training, we must wear clean, indoor shoes in the space. If you are unsure about the shoes you have, check with your instructor upon arrival. It will be fine if you need to work in socks or bare feet.
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions about class policies or logistics.
