Description

Are you a comedian that just binged watched Baby Reindeer and want to also say you can act?! Or when you randomly get a cold call email to audition for a FX series you want to make sure you know what the heck to do?! Look no further than Sofia Dobrushin’s self tape Workshop. Here you will get the spark notes version of a BFA acting degree and you don’t even have to get yelled at by an old white man who used to be on a soap opera in the 70’s!! Too specific?! That’s acting baby!

This class will will help you hone your self tape audition skills with confidence and ease in a market that is already very unpredictable. The only thing you can control is you and your performance so let's get to it!

Some class goals will be: memorization in a pinch, multiple roles for the same project and how to differentiate, eyelines, proper self tape etiquette, and how to not make yourself do 537 takes for a one line audition. This is also an amazing course for trained actors who want to dust off some post-strike cobwebs in a fun and supportive environment. In this class you have opportunity to pull from materials provided by BCC & Sofia or workshop actual auditions you would like to work on.

Note: Class may end between 2:30 - 3:00 PM depending on the number of enrollments.

Refund Policy
