Description

This class is for anyone who aspires to find joy through music, rhythm, and dance. When you enter this space, you will learn how to utilize your body both rhythmically, and joyfully through the vernacular of Locking dance and funk music history. We will embark on a journey through the magnificent era of funk music, which is the birthplace of Locking, cultivated by the creativity and jubilation of Don Campbellock Campbell. In this class you will learn to both hear and understand music, finding your rhythm through guided dance exercises that include grooving and locking dance fundamentals. You will develop more physical and musical awareness that will significantly improve your body’s rhythm and musicality. Your heart and mind will expand, and you soul will feel and understand music so you may grow and enjoy dance rhythmically, musically, creatively, and joyfully.

Refund Policy

IN-STUDIO OPEN CLASSES

Cancellations for In-Studio classes must be made 24 hours prior to class in order to give those on the waitlist adequate notification that they have been added to the class. For cancellations made prior to 24 hours before the class start time, students will receive a credit to their account. Classes expire 14 days from date of purchase, not from date of class or cancellation. No credit or reimbursement will be given for late cancellations or for not showing up for a scheduled class.

ONLINE OPEN CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

For online class cancellations made prior to 2 hours before the class start time, students will receive a credit to their account. Classes expire 14 days from date of purchase, not from date of class or cancellation. For online class cancellations made within two (2) hours of the class start time, students will forfeit their place in class and shall not receive a refund. There are NO refunds or exchanges for Connect Online Classes.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
