Description

New to improv? This is the perfect class for you. You will discover the foundational principle of saying "Yes, and" to every idea, particularly your own, as a pathway to becoming a confident, creative, and uninhibited performer. Through structured games and interactive exercises, participants will develop skills in emotional authenticity, intuitive decision-making, scene support, and risk-taking. These core abilities form the foundation of successful improvisation.

Whether your goal is to become a performer or simply explore a new activity while building community, this class creates an encouraging space to enhance your confidence and artistic expression. Each session culminates in a performance for an audience, giving you the opportunity to showcase your growth.

Please note: Classes may conclude 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, depending on enrollment numbers.

Refund Policy

Class payments are non-refundable.

In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.

In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Sara Hennersson is an excellent teacher/mentor. Gives fantastic feedback and makes the go by fast. Her analysis and examples to enhance our own creativity is extraordinary. Highly recommend this class for beginners.
