This course teaches the essential habits and foundational knowledge that characterize accomplished guitarists, including basic chord progressions, strumming techniques, and musical understanding needed for further advancement in any guitar style. You do not need to read music notation to succeed in this course.

No prior musical experience is required. You will bring your own guitar to class, and all instructional materials will be provided. By the end of the course, all enrolled students will have the opportunity to perform in a showcase, giving you a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned and build confidence in your new skills.

Please arrive ten minutes early if possible to allow time for setup and to maximize your learning during class.

Craig is fun and informative, low-key and low pressure class. You get what you put in. If you go with informed questions and actually practice, you'll be surprised with how quickly you develop over the 8 short weeks.
