In this advanced intermediate guitar class, you will play challenging and musically complex strumming patterns. You'll skillfully mix bass note patterns, palm muting techniques, scratch rhythms, and carefully syncopated sixteenth note patterns, transforming yourself into a confident, expressive, and musically sophisticated rhythm guitar player.
The typical student successfully completes this intermediate course after 6 to 8 practice sessions. However, your personal pace may be faster or slower, and that's perfectly fine and expected.
To feel confident that this class level matches your current abilities, play along with the available class graduation videos. If you can play along with the previous course level's graduation video but struggle with this level's graduation video, you have found your correct placement!
Before your first class session, practice with the warm-up video that you will perform consistently in every class. Nine different warm-up variations are available, so select carefully based on your skill level. Don't worry about achieving perfect mastery initially; just get comfortable with the material and rhythms. As a helpful tip, using this same video regularly for your personal home practice will speed up your progress significantly!
Once you successfully master this level's graduation video, check out the next course level in our comprehensive series!
