Description

Dynamic Singing is a two-hour weekly workshop designed for intermediate and advanced singers, as well as beginners who have acquired familiarity with basic vocal techniques. The class is led by accomplished instructor Michelle Walker.

The class focuses on developing phrasing and musical style; participants should have some prior familiarity with the jazz canon and arrive prepared with a few songs of their personal choice. The workshop is open to singers of all ages and backgrounds.

Based in New York City, Michelle Walker is a versatile and accomplished singer blessed with a beautifully distinctive voice. Her unique arrangements of straight-ahead standards and contemporary pop tunes blend musical genres effortlessly and showcase a fresh level of originality that is solidifying her establishment as an artist with her own distinctive sound and artistic voice.

Refund Policy

Once students commit to participating at the workshop we hire a teacher and block the space for the class. The NYJW commits to the payment of the teacher and the studio rental and we therefore are unable to offer refunds.

We try to keep the costs for the students as low as possible and we do offer the opportunity to participate in one of our classes before signing up.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
