Description

Master the essential techniques required for professional on-set makeup and special effects artistry. This hands-on course is taught by industry veterans who have worked on major productions including Puppet Master, Castle Freak, Hellraiser, Vikings, and The Pendragon Cycle, as well as acclaimed television series like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Tudors, and more.

Whether you're completely new to makeup effects or have already taken introductory courses, this class welcomes participants at all experience levels and provides practical experience with advanced applications.

Advanced Techniques Covered:

Life casting methods and mold making
Realistic facial wound creation
Eye prosthetics and missing eye effects
Split lip and swollen eye techniques
Neck wound applications
Broken nose and facial trauma effects
Blood bladder installation
Multiple wound layering and bleeding effects

Materials and Tools:

All makeup materials and supplies are provided throughout the workshop. Students should bring their own sculpting tools, including basic art brushes, an alcohol-based paint palette, a red marker for detail work, and cuticle scissors for precise trimming.

Refund Policy

Classes are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date if you notify us 11 business days prior to the start of class. Reschedule requests that are within five days of the class will incur a 10% cancellation fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
