The aldehydic florals of the 1920s, the sheer aquatics of the 90s, the clean girl musks of today—fragrance trends are fragrance history in action. But how are trends born and how can we identify them?

This class begins with a dissection of trend forecasting, discussing how cultural signals become perfume products, the metrics used to pinpoint trends, and the trend life cycle. We will then shift into the most defining fragrance trends over time, smelling our way from the past to present.

Finally, we'll apply what we've learned to spot the signals shaping fragrance's next chapter. You'll leave class not just knowing fragrance history, but being able to read where it's headed next.

Refund Policy

We offer to reschedule as needed 3 business days prior. There are no refunds, as we prepare ingredients and class materials beforehand.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
