The DJ Certification Program provides comprehensive, structured training for beginning students who are committed to launching careers as working DJs and music producers. The curriculum delivers instruction across a wide range of mixing, scratching, and music production techniques developed over a carefully sequenced progression of coursework.
The program is organized into eight progressive levels, with students typically completing the entire certification over approximately one year while attending class once per week. Small class sizes foster a collaborative learning environment where students build relationships and support one another's development. To minimize scheduling complications, students maintain the same class day and time throughout the full program.
New students begin with Level 1, though those with prior experience are welcome to take a placement assessment. The program director can evaluate your background and recommend the appropriate starting level to ensure you progress effectively. Upon successful completion of all eight levels, graduates receive official certification and a graduation plaque recognizing their achievement.
Participants must be 18 years or older to enroll.
