This comprehensive four-day course provides intensive, hands-on training in all essential aspects of asbestos handling and removal. Participants gain practical experience in employing engineering controls, executing proper decontamination procedures, and applying industry-standard work practices to prevent fiber release and worker exposure. Legal requirements mandate that any worker removing, encapsulating, or disturbing friable asbestos, or handling asbestos materials in ways that may release fibers, must possess a valid asbestos handler certificate and maintain physical or digital copies during all project work.

Additional licensing fees apply: the NY State Department of Labor License Fee is 50 dollars, and the NYC DEP License Fee is $100.
