Part One: Heartcode® BLS Online
HeartCode® BLS Online is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance.
The program is designed for healthcare professionals who need Basic Life Support training for their clinical duties. Utilizing a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, Cognitive Assessment Activities, illustrations, knowledge checks and interactive activities,this program teaches BLS knowledge and skills. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity. Students who successfully complete the cognitive portion and the hands-on session (skills) will receive an AHA BLS Provider course completion card (eCard), valid for two years. Access to the BLS Provider Manual eBook (20-3102) is included with HeartCode BLS. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course. Required: At the conclusion of this AHA online academic program and the AHA evaluation, you will be able to print OR save to PDF a temporary certificate that is to be sent to [email protected] before continuing to part 2 physical skill practice and testing and eventual professional certification. Part Two After completing the online portion, students attend a structured BLS Hands-On Session with an AHA Instructor. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. Includes: personal rescue mask with 1-way valve. 1 session, $34 payable directly to the American Heart Association

Online programs: An access link will be emailed to you after purchase.
In the event that some or all of the meetings of the program cannot happen in person, programs will be held at the scheduled time in a virtual format via a video conferencing platform. The programs will continue through hands-on, at-home activities, lectures, presentations, and/or group discussions. No refunds will be issued should any portion of a course be held virtually.
We are not responsible for providing makeup classes or issuing refunds for programs missed as a result of illness, emergencies or other events beyond our control.
There are no refunds for outings, classes or workshops that meet fewer than three times per semester.

Processing fees, membership fees, auditions fees and class or exercise cards are not refundable. No cash refunds.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
