Class Description

Description

Learn how to use generative AI to strengthen your video and motion graphics work. This workshop covers how to create visual and audio assets using AI tools, how to integrate those tools into an everyday production workflow, and how to navigate copyright and data confidentiality considerations when working with AI-generated content.

Designed for both professionals and enthusiastic amateurs, the course begins with an overview of the current generative AI landscape, including its history, practical applications, and legal implications. From there, you will explore AI-driven approaches to motion design and video production, with hands-on sessions covering workflow development, concept generation, and asset creation from text, image, audio, and video prompts. You will also learn how to produce mood boards, scripts, and storyboards, and how to refine visual and audio elements for seamless integration into your projects.

Prerequisite: Students should have a basic understanding of video editing and motion graphics, including common terminology, techniques, and software.
