Description

In this specialized class, learn skills to manage Lightroom’s challenging import & management system & then apply them to your catalogs in a supervised setting. Led by two Adobe Certified Lightroom Experts, classes are small for personal attention, include coffee & pastries, a catered lunch & afternoon snacks in a comfortable, social setting.

In the morning workshop session, you will learn how to correctly setup Lightroom for importing new and existing images and how to manage your photos and folders strategically in the Library. You will also learn to “read” the various thumbnail badges, error notifications, tips, tricks and power user techniques to manage and control Lightroom.

In the afternoon session, you’ll apply the skills learned in the morning workshop in our hands-on repair lab. Because the class size is limited you’ll get expert supervision while working on your own catalog, fixing and organizing your Library’s files and folders.

We'll provide a complimentary 32GB USB flash drive with practice work files and PDF documentation. Morning coffee and muffins, a catered lunch, and a late afternoon pick-me-up snack are also included.

After completing the lab, attendees will be entitled to a free half hour online consultation.

Prerequisites

For this workshop and lab, please bring the following:

Wi-Fi enabled laptop (Mac or PC) with 25GB of free hard drive space, at least one working USB port
Three-button external mouse (optional - loaners will be available if you don’t have one)
The most recent version of Lightroom installed prior to course start (either Creative Cloud or version 6.0+)
Your current Lightroom Catalog(s) that has been backed up

And you should have:
