Essential Lighting and Studio (6 weeks)

This methodical approach to learning studio photography begins with analyzing lighting in well-known photographs and breaking down the setups, tools and techniques required to accomplish these images.

Each week we'll tackle one essential factor of lighting, from single-light setups to complex multiple-light setups, using modifiers, backgrounds, and various light sources to deliver precise and amazing results.

Through a combination of theory and practice, you'll learn the techniques used by studio photographers and lighting professionals to mimic sunlight, control shadows and contrast, define subjects, as well as how to create polished, professional studio portraits and high-fashion imagery with in-studio models and subjects.
