Class Description

Description

Master Figma with comprehensive training in UX and UI design for web and mobile application development. Through this hands-on training experience, you will achieve mastery of Figma, progressing from foundational concepts to sophisticated capabilities for both UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) design work.

Figma represents a contemporary design platform engineered to address the specific requirements of modern web designers, UX professionals, and application designers. In contrast to traditional image editing software like Photoshop, which originated from print production, retouching, and illustration needs, Figma has been purpose-built exclusively for user interface and user experience design. You possess the ability to craft detailed visuals and transform them into interactive, functional prototypes within a single unified environment.

The platform employs frames (known as artboards in other applications) to facilitate efficient web layout design across multiple screen dimensions, including mobile phones, tablets, and desktop monitors, as well as application screen interfaces. Because it operates on vector-based principles, you can easily adapt designs across diverse screen resolutions while simultaneously generating high-resolution (Retina) graphics compatible with web and app environments. Figma includes specialized tools and capabilities built expressly for UI (User Interface) work and UX (User Experience) design, encompassing component libraries, native prototyping capabilities, and numerous additional features.

Learn to develop intricate and lifelike prototypes featuring sophisticated interactive behaviors. You will incorporate interactive states such as hover effects, integrate animations into your designs using the smart animate feature, establish scrollable regions within specific screen areas, and explore many more advanced techniques.

As a web-based, completely cloud-dependent platform, Figma has integrated collaborative features and seamless file-sharing capabilities. Although a Figma desktop application is available for installation, users can alternatively access Figma through any web browser to begin design work immediately without requiring any software installation.
