The strong and growing demand for single-page dynamic web applications has established React as a leading technology choice. React has become the preferred framework among developers for building powerful and responsive web applications, and it is the most widely used JavaScript library in the industry today.
React is built around a fundamental concept: reusable blocks of code called components. Once developers create a component, they can leverage and reuse it repeatedly throughout their projects, significantly reducing redundant code and maximizing code efficiency and reusability.
In this course, you will master the major concepts and techniques of the React framework. You will begin with foundational topics such as understanding component composition and structure, which are essential to React development. Throughout this course, you will build multiple fully functional web applications to apply your learning. You will progress from basic component work to more advanced patterns and optimization techniques.
Note: This course is currently available only as a component of the JavaScript Development Certificate program.
Course Prerequisites:
Students should have a strong working knowledge of JavaScript programming equivalent to our JavaScript Programming Bootcamp course, including proficiency with functions, objects, and data types; a solid understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals; and knowledge of JavaScript development using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
